Chiropractic Corrective Care
Goal: #1 To correct the condition that was causing pain.
#2 To keep pain from returning.
Congratulations!! Patients who are in corrective care have completed the Relief Care Phase and have reached their pain management goals. Now that the time frame between visits has been lengthened, patients usually require two visits per week during corrective care.
The goal of corrective care is to use chiropractic adjustments and physical therapy exercises to correct the condition and allow the body to heal. This is a double whammy because by healing the condition we can reduce the likelihood of the pain returning.
Since the stresses of your life continue as you continue with therapy, some patients will experience mild flare ups. This is a normal part of the healing process. Just like in the Relief Care Phase, patient progress will be measured. As goals are reached, patients will graduate to the next stage of care.
